The 2011 FBFC National Specialty was held in Abbotsford, British Columbia on October 28, 2011 in conjunction with the Lower Mainland Dog Fanciers of BC (“LMDF”) All-Breed Shows. The Specialty was judged by Dr. Eugene Yerusalimsky of Russia, an accredited FCI judge and the Sweepstakes was judged by Mr. Jay Serion of the USA. There were 54 dogs entered in the Specialty Show and 20 dogs entered in the Sweepstakes. There were a large number of National Specialties held at LMDF, with our Specialty attracting the largest entry.
Our show logo this year was created by Olga Gonorovsky of Russia and depicted Frenchies against the beautiful British Columbia scenery. The trophies were unique and individually handcrafted by a Canadian artist, Erick Cervantes. Dawn Deeley’s donation of her handmade kangaroo leather show leads were a beautiful contribution to the prizes.
